Founded in 2007 “GREENGO TOURS” offers a diverse range of walks, hikes, treks and tours in Potosi southwest zone, specializing in the cultural history of this fascinating region. “GREENGO TOURS” designs responsible travel activities in Potosi and beyond from hal-day urban tours to multi-day cross-country trips and cultural tours, recomemended by Lonely Planet, Footprints, Rough Guide and others, if you want to know what to see and do in the department of Potosi and Sucre and for the best adventure travel experiences to Uyuni Salt Flats and the National Parks much much more, go with “GREENGO TOURS”.
Now operated by local former miner Julio Cesar Morales Zambrana, the pionner tour guide in Potosi who started the tourism activity in 1988. Julio is actively fighting to improve conditions for miners (see Lonely Planet and other guide books) We are a diverse group of local guides entranced by the natural and cultural history of Potosi and convinced that carefully operated travel and ecotourism experiences contribute to sustainable development in our poor region and people too. As we have grown over the years we have engaged with a wonderfull creative and committed cast of characters who all share a common passion providing high-quality, responsible travel experiences in this region for visitors from all over the world.
